I enjoyed this book so much. Andy took me on an exciting journey with her. The pipe line was the star of this story in my opinion. Kirsten, I loved learning about the dirty work of building a pipe line and the workers who built it. In the midst of that there were two love stories going on, one about how Andy realized what a wonderful and loving man her grandfather was, and her love of Travis and how she taught him to respect her. It is a lovely and well written story and I want to read more of Kirsten Fullmer's books. Thanks for sharing your talent, Kirsten!

I felt there was too much repetitive pipeline work/jargon. The characterization was excellent. I kept wondering "will they or won't they". Overall, it was an interesting book and I was pleased with the ending.
My brother and nephew are pipeliners, but I never knew much about what they did. This book weaves so much info about that job into a great story! Highly recommend!
Wonderful book. Carefully written to incorporate strife, pain, adventure, heart ache and love. Enjoyed every word, every turn of adventure.
Really great book! If you don't know anything about the pipeline industry, you will definitely learn something and if you do know something about the industry, you will be pleased in how it's portrayed. Loved it from start to finish!!!
I was really thrilled with this book on several levels. First, it was a really good story. Second, it was informative about the job of Pipeliners. Third, it didn't have sex throughout. It was sexy without being disgusting.
This book came in my book rebel email and the cover didn't really appeal to me but the story sounded good. I'm glad I decided to give it a chance. Good story and characters. Will check out more from this author.
I obtained this free e-book from and I am voluntarily writing a review. Andrea ( Andy) has taken time off from her studies before going to graduate school to go to work with her estrange grandfather as an engineering assistant on a pipeline working the right of way. She has no experience of this type of work and no clue what she will encounter. Buck is the grandfather and a well respected, well known engineer in the pipelining business who has offered his granddaughter the opportunity to be his assistant and learn his trade. Rooster (Travis) is the tie up foreman for the crew working the right of way. Woman have no business on a pipeline, they will either get hurt or cause a distraction and cause one of the men to get hurt.
